Warshatna ("our workshop") is a marketplace for handmade goods that goes beyond buy-it-now — connecting artisans, suppliers, and buyers, with a bidding flow for custom commissions and a built-in jobs and training ecosystem for the craft trade itself.
The challenge
Handmade and custom-made goods don't fit a standard product listing: a buyer often wants something made to spec, not picked off a shelf, which means negotiating scope and price with the maker directly. The platform also needed to serve the supply side of the trade — artisans sourcing materials from suppliers, and the broader craft workforce looking for jobs, training, or apprenticeships — without turning into three disconnected sites.
The approach
A standard storefront (categories, top sellers, latest products) sits alongside a public and private inquiry system: a buyer posts what they want made, artisans bid with price and timeline, and the conversation stays attached to that inquiry. Three dashboards — artisan/supplier, client, and moderator — each surface what that role manages: products and inquiries for sellers, orders and wishlists for buyers, approvals for moderators. A separate opportunities & jobs hub lists openings, talent, and training centers for the trade itself.

The result
A marketplace that handles off-the-shelf buying and made-to-order commissions in the same product, while feeding the trade's own workforce through a built-in jobs and training hub.
