The challenge
Pulse shipped every chart a customer ever asked for. The result was a dashboard nobody could read: twelve widgets per screen and a support team teaching people where to look.
What I did
I interviewed the support team first — they knew every question customers actually asked. Each screen was rebuilt around one question with one primary answer, and everything else moved a click away.
The outcome
Time-to-insight in usability tests dropped 38%, and "where do I find" support tickets fell by half.
